Modi takes aim at Akhilesh's alliance with New Bua - Mamata Banerjee
As January nears its end, the Meteorological Department's regional headquarters in Alipore issued a rain alert for South Bengal. In a statement released on Monday afternoon, the department predicts rain in wide areas of South Bengal starting Tuesday, providing relief from the lingering winter.
The forecast indicates the possibility of rain in five districts – East Burdwan, West Burdwan, Murshidabad, Birbhum, and Nadia on Tuesday. While Kolkata is expected to experience rain with light fog, the alert suggests no heavy rainfall across these regions. Light to moderate fog is anticipated in the district for the next few days.
